Buying a kitten
Hi all, My wife wants to buy a kitten, but she's quite particular about what kind of kitten she gets. She likes kittens with round faces like in the Whiskers adverts (I think they are British Short Hair) and she also likes Persians. What are the best websites to go about looking for kittens and what kind of price should I…

Wainwright's Dog Food - opinions and thoughts please?
Hi, I posted earlier asking about changing my dog's diet to a BARF diet to try and improve his skin. I have been on the Pets at Home website and seen Wainwright's dog food which is specifically formulated to be gentle on dogs digestion by excluding ingredients that commonly cause allergies. It is £36.99 for 15kg and I was…

Changing my dog's food
Hi, I want to change my dog's diet (gradually) as I would like to know exactly what he is eating. He does have a skin allergy and I have been advised to change his diet as this could help prevent it from flaring up. I have been considering making my own food for him using fresh meat etc so I know he is only getting the…

We live on the Isle of Dogs, in a rental house with 2 white fluffy dogs. There is one vet practice in the area where we can walk to (about 20 mins). However, my neighbour does not like the practice and recommends one in the City where she takes her dog to. We have taken our 2 dogs there, but it was really hard work because…

I've had to invest in loads of chicken wire just to…

My cat is left 'pawed' (handed) - how about yours...?
Hi all For weeks I have put up with one of my girls pawing my face to wake me up (not so great when I then smell the tell tale signs of a kitty litter visit but anyway :p ) I then got to thinking, why does she always use her left paw - even when her right paw would be closer? Well, I've figured out that she is left pawed…
