26 weeks :eek:disgraceful it should have been at least 2 years IMO. What kind of scum could do that? :mad:We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing.0

They called him a dog killer, but he didn't did he? He left the poor dog suffering at the side of the road where it had to be put down by a vet. He caused the death of the dog but didn't even finish the poor thing off to stop its suffering, that to me is an even worse crime.0

I hope they send him to a jail where the inmates are dog lovers, lets see how he copes against them rather than a dog that was probably devoted to him and trusted him with its life.Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0

A man in my area hit a dog with a club causing it to lose it's eye. He only did a short time in prison but when he got home his real sentence began. He's been attacked in the street, had his house egged and windows broken, hate mail, silent phone calls...in short, his life's been made a misery.
Not condoning any of that, but I've got no sympathy for him at all.
People can have long memories and he will have a long time to regret what he did to the poor dog.
Hopefully the same will apply to this Andrew Summerfield idiot.0 -
I haven't heard the news nor do I want to read into it as it's too upsetting but 26 weeks is a very short sentence for the crime he commited. He will more than likely only do half the sentence too - disgraceful!A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

Total scum!!I hope he meets lots of dog lovers in prison:mad::mad:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

I daren't read it either. I firmly believe in what goes round comes round. Whether he gets his comeuppance in jail, who cares, he will suffer in other ways.0

As others have said he may well meet some real hard men in prison who'll dish out their own justice. Many of these chaps are nasty pieces of work but love animals. Let's hope this pathetic excuse for human life crosses paths with one such individual.2012 Wins: 1 x Case of Lanson Champagne :beer:0

That poor poor dog
. I do believe that people are getting more sentances than ever before when they are cruel to animals so we can only hope that this means that the sentances will get longer and longer in order to deter people from committing these disgraceful acts of cruelty.

How vile that man is. What goes through people's heads to hurt an animal that probably trusted him and loved him unconditionally. The final insult is to leave it suffering at the side of a road - not even ending the poor dog's suffering. What an evil man, I really don't understand people who take pleasure in hurting animals
I have Bull Terrier too and he is the most affectionate, loyal and loveliest dog I have ever met..poor Barney.
A jail sentence isn't justice, especially when he will probably serve half. What a waste of space that man is. The punishment never fits the crimeThe more one gets to know of men, the more one values dogs.0
