Christmas Dinner (preparing in advance)
I am trying to plan the cooking for Christmas Day and was thinking, apart from preparing the veg on christmas Eve, whether I could do anything else in advance. Could I do things like mash swede, make gravy and make up stuffing balls on Christmas Eve, and maybe even freeze yorkshires to use on the day rater than buy frozen…

Butter & flour mixture
Last night when making cheese sauce, I melted the butter then was tipping some flour into the pan (straight from the new packet) and accidentally tipped waaaay too much flour in for making the roux. I tipped it out of the pan and started again with the sauce, but I've saved the floury-butter mix - am I right in thinking…

I was having a bit of a clear out this afternoon and came across a black leather look skirt, which still fitted me......trouble is where it's been folded up there are creases in the fabric... The label says don't iron, and I didn't want to hang the skirt on the radiator to warm up in case it took on the pattern of the…

Does anybody know of a…
