Dieting on a budget?
right, the time has come, my muffin roll has now gotten so bad it's wobbling as I walk! On a good day I'm a size 12, but I'm starting to put on huge amounts of fat round my waist - the rest of me is actually okay, so I'm figuring it's just my age! I'm also on a really tight budget due to saving for a working holiday…

I can't seem to find any harmless-to-humans treatment for fleas which my cats have kindly brought it. It also needs to be inexpensive and I was wondering if any of you know of any old-style treatment which won't poison us too:confused: Thanks for your time. Tess

Need to change my spending habits
I need to pull myself together. I've fallen into the 'if-I-want-it-I'll-just-buy-it' habit. Interestingly this won't include clothes for me even though I genuinely do need some clothes that look a bit respectable and fit. But it does inculde food, crafts, books, snacks, Starbucks, gardening things etc... I used to be…

Feeling adventurous, I picked up a can of squid in american sauce the other day, £1.49. There aren't any cooking instructions on the can but it looks like you can eat it straight away, as a starter I suppose. Freezing uncooked Welsh Cakes
Nearly St Davids Day again and trying to get ahead I wondered if you could freeze uncooked welsh cakes. I know you can freeze cooked ones but I was hoping to have that nice smell of freshly cooked welsh cakes in the air. We have 130 children to satisfy on the day - I'm too scared to get this wrong!:D
