Recommend an android head unit?
Further on a previous post, can anyone recommend a quality head unit to replace my stock? I've looked on Amazon for head units and I just get a long list of weird strange brands I've never heard of. The Pioneer / etc Halford ones are extortionate. Hoping to find something less than £200 that's good for Gmaps and the…

Speed awareness course - cheapest
I 'had reason' (ahem) to book a speed awareness recently. Not surprisingly, they are all now being delivered online. However, there's a big difference in price between the cheapest and the most expensive - £20 difference. Since they are all online - it doesn't matter the 'location' of the one that you book, so really…

Driving lessons after driving for 20yrs?
I live in a very rural area and am perfectly happy driving locally but I’m really anxious about driving to the city. I’m scared of motorways (mainly the slip road on to it!), multiple lanes and spiral roundabouts. None of these things were part of my driving test so I never experienced them. It’s rare that I need to go to…

Traffic lights and box junctions
At a box junction, there is usually a gap of about 1 or 2 car lengths from the stop line to the box. So if the light is green and you pass through the stop line, but then don't enter the box because your exit isn't clear, what should you do if the light goes red and your exit then clears? I'm over the stop line, so the red…

Green motion scam (I know)
Long story shortish I needed a car quick and as these are close to me I fell for the cheapish prices. I ordered a small car (fiesta or similar) and on the day they say to me ‘it’s your lucky day’ and give me a BMW with only 1000 mls on the clock. I opted for the bronze level of extra cover as I knew I had a very short…

Can I reject my leased car?
I purchased a Nissan Qashqai by Personal Contract Hire in March 2020 and 3 faults occurred over a 3 week period. The car was inspected by a…
