TFL bus destination changes
These are starting to get on my nerves. You board a bus that terminates somewhere beyond your destination, only for the driver to change the terminating stop. You're then forced to board another bus and pay for a second bus journey. I did some reading and apparently there's something called a transfer or inspector ticket…

OMG, I cant believe VW quote
I had my car serviced last week and whilst I was there I asked them to give me a quote for a tiny scratch by the door handle (really a paint pen would do it, but I thought, as car only a year old, worth doing properly) and also a couple of scratches along the plastic under front bumper, from a low kerb. Today they sent me…

Many thanks for your help experts!:)

Anyone changed a headlight on a Picasso?
Some git has damaged the headlight on my picasso, so I need to fit a new one. Is this a job I can do myself, or is it all specialist bolts and hidden fixings? And is it worth paying for a genuine Citroen part, or a copy from an online place. The Citroen seems to be about £115 and a copy under half of that. Any help…

I bought a used car yesterday from a dealer but after taking it home and having a drive I don't like it, is there anyway I might have a cooling off period or is it a case of tough luck? Any advice welcome! Thanks

Spare Wheel necessary
I've heard that having a spare wheel in the car is not legally a necessity but if you do it must comply with regulations. I had always thought that carrying one was compulsory. Surely doing away with that would save a huge amount of weight and therefore grately increase mpg?

Wet footwell
Hi Hoping for some advice. I have a Vauxhall Corsa and the drivers' side footwell is very wet...in fact, saturated. It has been like this for a few weeks and originally happened during a spell of heavy rain and then dried during a dry spell. After another bout of heavy rain, it got saturated again and even in the dry…

Scrapping - What happens to insurance?
My car recently failed its MOT. Failed on emissions due to the engine misfiring. It's an old car, so it is not cost effective to put it in for engine work as the cost of labour etc will be greater than the value of the car. I have decided that I think I should scrap it. My problem - I have around 4-5 months left on my…
