Hit a pothole yesterday, it couldnt be avoided as traffic was on-coming, and it caused a tyre to blow out immediately!! :mad: now I know this is happening lots, but the tyre was 4 weeks old and cost £98 fitted! Have i got any comeback at all from council??

just had my oil filter changed (Landrover Discovery) and was charged £50. The mechanic did it after work and on his own time so was expecting it to be far less than £50 - is this a reasonable amount to charge for this type of work?
