Air Con Servicing
Anyone know of any reasonably priced car A/C regassers. Mine's gone a bit warm of late. I know there was some Kwik Fit offer on last year but that wasn't met with too much enthusiasm with regards to quality of repair & service. I'm in the Surrey/Hants border area.

On the contrary to the norm regarding Kwik Fit, the air con service is something I have never heard a bad word about.
It is (was?) a fixed price to extract, test, regen. If they couldn't reduce the temp by xx degrees the service was free (as I understood).
I would never advise going to Kwik fit for anything normally, but the Air con service is one that I would recommend.
If it leaks, drive off and find someone else to repair it.0 -
This one is a tough one when you have a warranty on a car. I was told that if anyone other than a registered Nissan dealer did the service that I had negated my warranty. Personally I ditched the warranty and the Nissan but you might need to consider this.0

I'd be interested in others thoughts too. I see that Halfrauds offer a similar service.0

use a proper garage/ac specialist
should cost around £50 for a regas adding uv dye and an antibac clean.0 -
Never heard a bad thing said about the Kwik Fit service. They can hardly get it wrong, its a machine, connect two hoses, press the start button, job done.0
