I'm about to buy my first ever satnav and have been doing a bit or reading on the best type etc, but is there any way to make sure i will def get a signal?
I want it basically to guide be round the middle of nowhere - places I often don't get a phone signal so am worried i won't get a satnav signal either - any ideas on how i can be sure before buying?

Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

To put it intolayman terms, phones get signals from masts that can be blocked or hindered by buildings, hills etc, sat navs get the info from above which is less likely to be obstructed.0

One thing that may interfere with your signal reception is if you have a quick clear front screen, so best check first.Fight Crime : Shoot Back.
