Is 1st Class rail travel worth the extra?
I'm travelling to Paignton by train on a Saturday in June, the cheapest return fare is £40.90, I could upgrade to 1st class by buying 2 singles at £27.70 each way, making it £7.25 each way more for 1st class. Is it worth paying the extra? Not exactly money saving but a more comfortable journey perhaps.
