Where is best for tyres?
HI everyone I took my car to have a slow puncture fixed this morning but was told it had to be replaced, plus another tyre is just at it's legal limit and no more. I was quoted £258 (!!!!!) for the two but this seems pretty pricey to me - any recommendations of where to go? Thanks

My wife has just learnt that the lease car she gets through work has to run its course (3 years) before she can get rid of it. The story is basically, we can't afford the lease car and want to give the car back and end the lease. The department that cover this at work say that the only way the lease will cease is if she…

Cycles on trains - anyone been refused?
I ask because I have a train journey coming up with my bike and I cannot reserve cycle space on 3 out of the 4 trains I need. They will take up to 5 cycles but under the terms of the cheap ticket I have to travel on those trains, so if 5 others get there first it could end up costing me so much more (not sure how much yet,…

Car Warranty
Hi all. As a few of you will know I got a new car a few weeks ago. I have been looking at getting a warranty on the car but the thing is it is going to cost £350. I can't decide whether this is a good buy or if they aren't worth the paper they're written on. Obviously it won't cover things like break pads/discs and general…

how do i transfer a No Claims Bonus?
Hi guys and girls, A quick question , how do no claims bonus work? I have built up a No Claims Bonus as a named driver with an insurance company, can I take that NCB to another insurance company? If so, how? Do I just state how many years NCB I have? How do they confirm it? Otherwise that would be open to abuse right?…
