Wanna Tom Tom Go 300 system - can anyone find it cheaper than £361 at Comet?
As the title suggests, I wanna buy a Tom Tom Go 300 navigation system. The cheapest I have found is £361 on Comets website, but I know that there are experts on this board that have a very clever and useful knack of getting things much cheaper - a skill that I do not seem to posess. I am therefore asking for assistance, so…

Motoflow
Nobody seems to have heard of this product but I've put something called a Motoflow 2 on my Daewoo Lanos and it's cut my petrol usage by about 12%. My mate John has got one on his new Freelander and he's doing even better. It's a magnetic thingy - apparently the DTI has checked it out and confirmed that it works. I got…

Job title affects car insurance
I found this, really interesting. What motorists do for a living plays a big part in determining how much they pay for car insurance, it has been revealed. Comedians and choirmasters end up forking out £200 a year more than clergymen, even whenthey drive the same car and live in the same area, according to car insurance…

Help, what car shall I get!
Hi I'm looking a new(er) car than my current one and I have no idea what to go for! I've got a Punto which I love, but I don't want another Fiat because I don't like the accelerator position - too high, makes the leg ache if I'm in flat shoes...and it's a shame because I've driven a Stilo and it was great, very responsive…

Finance or capital to purchase 2nd hand car?
I've probably missed the point of this website but everyone keeps telling me I should use other people's money instead of my own. However I can't see how it makes sense to borrow at a higher rate than the interest you'd lose buying with your own capital. Currently in the process of buying a BMW - they have their own…

Advice - Diesel Picasso or Meriva
Am starting a new job soon and for a very low monthly price indeed, they offer company cars as a benefit. I've narrowed it down to the Citroen Xsara Picasso 2.0 Diesel Exclusive (so top of the range accessories there) or the Vauxhall Meriva 1.7 CDTi Diesel Design with AC (so again top range accessories). Both seem to come…
