Hi, fixed rate ends in March so starting to look now. Currently got £111000 left so when applying do I apply for this amount although it will be less (not a lot) by the time the new mortgage starts in 6 months? What happens if I accept an offer then find a better rate in a few months can I just cancel the first offer?…

Underwriting - debt to ratio
Hi, our application is with the underwriters at NatWest but I'm concerned we are going to fail the affordability checks. Do underwriters do debt to ratio on things like childcare costs, new mortgage cost, bills etc? If so ours is 61%.

Is my tracker mortgage that good?

Halifax Mortgage with historic adverse
Hi, we have just had an AIP approved with Halifax 70% LTV - 165k deposit AIP issued for 670k - house we have offered on is 560k so well inside affordability Our credit files are clean with no issues or defaults I have a historic issue from 2011 (repossession) - how would Halifax view this? Thanks
