Do all mortgage lenders check financial associate’s?

Do all lender’s check for financial associates? (Coventry BS)
My gf applied for a sole mortgage & got AIP for 54% ltv, she had an offer accepted on a house & has since applied in full.
We checked her Experian credit report before hand & all excellent, since then I checked my score on check my file & it has came up on the other 2 credit reference agency’s that I am a financial associate (probably from a joint account we made a while ago to save for a holiday) we don’t live together at the moment we stay with our separate parents.
She is still waiting to hear back from the mortgage (it has only been about 4/5 days) if this does cause a problem & she is decline, how easy is it to get me removed from her file & how long would it roughly take?
My problem with this being I have 2 defaults from 3/4 years ago (£1500) settled.

If you have any joint accounts, you are automatically associated.
How the lender might approach this I don't know. Will you be residing in the property being purchased? What is the source of the deposit?
Once you close any joint accounts, you can request a disassociation by the three CRAs. It will take a month or two to work its way through.I am a mortgage broker.
