Estate agent valuation worth it for re-mortgage?
I have a free offer of an estate agent to visit my house and give a valuation. Is this worthwhile in relation to remortgage? Will the bank take a written recent valuation as credible for qualifying for a re-mortgage?

No family/friends have used so no personal recommendation. One in our town charges a percentage of the mortgage amount and also up front fee (£100).…
