Electoral register
We're due to make a mortgage application in the new year although we've found out that we returned the electoral register forms too late. I spoke to the council and they said that we would not appear on the register until the 17/02/14. I'm worried this will affect our credit search, so do you think it would be worth…

Gazumping /fee protection insurance
A few years ago when I bought a house I was gazumped on the purchase, it was quite late on so I suffered a loss of the fees I'd already paid, survey, mortgage broker and conveyancing. It really really annoyed me. I'm looking at buying again, is there any form of protection I could take out to protect myself this time round?
