consent to lease - extra 1.5%
Having been unable to sell my property 3 years ago I decided to let it out. I was given consent to lease by my mortgage lender. Now, 3 years on, they have told me if I am still letting it out, they will add 1.5% on to the SVR. This is outrageous. I'm sure I have no options but is there anything I can do? Are there any…

Hi I visited my mortgage broker and discussed a mortgage as a first time buyer. After saving hard, myself and my other half have a 30% deposit. We discussed the 5 year fix as being a safe bet. Remortgaging - panicking about valuation and LTV / interest rate
My fixed rate mortgage with the Halifax is coming to an end. My rate isn’t terrible, but not brilliant, so needless to say I have been looking elsewhere for a new deal. I bought my property in June 2009. It was valued, by 2 separate companies, at £110k, but I paid £105k for it. I don’t really know much about how much the…
