Help.
On my Experian file a default has just appeared from no where, it has never been showing on Experian before and has just appeared. Will lenders who gave me an AIP reject me now it has appeared or will they have seen it before. How on earth can these just show up? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That happened to me with little woods they suddenly put a default on my account from 2009 so I rang them up and they made an error and it was removed in 24 hours0

Have you actually defaulted? Were you sent the correct notices? And if so, when?

I spoke to them and they admitted that the default should not have been placed on my file as the balance should have been transferred to my new address when I moved. BUT it is going to take until the next update. Turns out that VM have just started reporting the Experian as of tomorrow (although it appears today!) I hope this doesn't stop my mortgage going through. I have an email from VM confirming that it is there mistake and will be removed, but it is still on the file.

Push for compensation and a quicker removal. They can remove it quicker according to some reports on this forum and others.2012 Wins: 1 x Case of Lanson Champagne :beer:0
