Mortgage Time Line

I've just called the Halifax and been told that the money I earn from my post as a PhD student may not count in their eyes if it's classed as a bursary. Has anyone experienced this before? Mortgage Broker recommendations?
Hello Moneysavers Just wondered if anyone can recommend a good mortgage broker? I do not want to pay a broker's fee. I am not knocking brokers and sure they do a fantastic job but what with the application fees and changing mortgage every 2 or 3 years it seems pointless paying a hefty broker fee on top of those too. Would…
