Is there any hope?
I am currently with Northern Rock and have a 200K mortgage. The mortgage is coming to the end of its fixed rate in June. The house is probably worth the same as the mortgage now. I am hoping to sell the house and break even then buy another. Is it worth trying to port the mortgage or do you think NR will be against this?
