Endowment response
I've sent off a complaint letter & had a response were I have to fill in a questioner but also they want to speak to me on the phone. Should I do this or should everything be in writing. Also asked for all my documention relating the case to which they haven't sent. I'm just a little suspicious of what to do.

Disgraceful intimidation
The Telegraph's investigator reports: Upholding the right to make a complaint So now you know what to do if this happens to you: step one is to walk away from any mortgage broker who tries to make you sign any such agreement, as it is an immediate sign of bad faith.

RBS Mortgage Sealing Fee
I'm due to end my mortgage with RBS soon (moving house and changing to new lender) and RBS have quoted me a charge of £225 as a sealing fee and deeds release fee. Switching to buy to let
We bought a flat in London on Scottish Widows' Professional Mortgage at the end of 2006. We want to relocate overseas in 2008 but would like to consider keeping the London property as a long term investment (on the assumption of central London property prices performing well in the long term). Fixed deal and moving house
We have a fixed 2 yr deal (and have done 6 mths) with the Nationwide. If we sell and move I understand it that if we keep the deal and providing they will lend us the money we can continue with them without paying the penalty. However, what happens if the house I am buying is 20,000 more? If they could lend it to us would…

Bradford and Bingley MEAF
I applied for MEAF and followed the guides on this site. The Bradford and Bingley say that I was only charged £75 ( 4years ago) so they are only offerng me £25. As I have no records I can't really prove anything. Has anyone else got a refund or had dealings with the Bradford and Bingley?

To Pay or Not to Pay?
As a newcomer to the Moneysaving Expert forum, I would appreciate others views and opinions on my dilemma. I currently have 6 years remaining on my relatively modest £54,000 mortgage (currently fixed at 5,1% for a further 12 months). However, in order to finance other family expenditure, I need to reduce my mortgage by…

Which is the best route to take for the UK mortgage broker, Independent, Whole of Market or a Panel of Lenders. Does it matter, as we may only use a handfull of lenders per year, anyway. Let's hear your views. JoeK

Becoming a broker (to the brokers here)
Hi guys and girls, I'm currently studying for my CeMap 1 in a training process for a certain company that just won 'best regional broker' in What mortgage magazine. I've got my exam coming up on the first of June and have almost finished my revision notes. From what I've heard, there are not a huge number of people who…
