Moving house - redemption penalties?
Planning to move house shortly with just under 2 years of a 5 year fix with the Halifax left. Redemption penalty is currently £1600 if mortgage paid off now. If we stayed with the Halifax (don't really want to but...) and increased the mortgage are they likely to waive the redemption penalty?
