I'm told I will have to pay £140 to do so, I can sell my phone for £70 so looking for a company to match this so I'm not out of pocket. My question is - are any companies likely to pay this sum for me to join their network? Anyone had any success stories,…

New way to avoid roaming charges (O2 Connect)
I noticed a new app in the iTunes App Store called O2 Connect. It's also available in the Android Market. It seems to be a pseudo-UMA app that allows you to make and receive calls (and texts) on your normal mobile number via VOIP, i.e. whenever you have a wireless connection, at the usual rates for your tariff. Unlike…

Is the Tesco Lite PAYG service still available to new customers?
As title really. Hardly make any calls on my mobile but still find it handy for the odd occasion. AFAIK Tesco Lite is still 8p / min calls and 4p / text message, but I can't see a way to sign up for it on their web pages. If anyone knows that would be helpful, otherwise I'll give them a bell on Monday.
