Orange upgrade and Orange Customer service

Orange mobile service and customer service have let me down. After years of loyalty to Orange with three contracts with them, I was upgraded to a monthly contract with promised services which I did not have when it came to activate the SIM card. I have called Orange many times and have written to them with a letter of complaint, telephoned them, I have even cancelled the contract before the expiry date, But no one from Orange bothered to contact me to resolve the problem. In my opinion that Orange does not care about my contract problem, and once I have the opportunity to cancel all of the contracts with Orange is the better.

I have cancelled the contract within the 14 days window which I was given by Orange and I have a record that Orange have received the handset. However it will take 3 to 4 days to implement. I am not confident that I will be successful in resolving this with Orange. Thank you for your idea about the recording of the my phone call.0

As long as you've returned the phone with the paperwork they send you when they authorized the return, you should be ok. That's one of the things they usually manage to get right!0 -
Thank you for your comment. I have contacted them again and again, but Orange customer service don't seem to be able to give me an update or even acknowledge they have received the set, which is my concern, I will wait until Monday and contact them again for an update.0

When did you send it?
The process is, it gets dropped at the post room for the address you've sent it to.
It when gets taken (usually that day) to the dept that process returns and gets logged and checked (they have to make sure there a phone in the box not a half brick, you'd be surprised! And then make sure that the phone you've sent is the phone that you were issued with). After that they notepad your acc to say they've received it and everything ok to action the return.
Bare in mind, they get 100's back a day and they're always running behind. The guys on frontline at CS can't call them, they can only go on what's on the acc screen they see...0
