E2Save free gift policy/Orange Contract Policy

Hi there, was just wondering if someone could help me.

I've just signed up for a deal with e2save for a mobile phone contract that costs £15.50 a month with Orange - I got a free PS Vita with it too. (before anyone lectures me I wanted a vita, and spent £10 a month topping up anyway, plus I got an Omnia 7 at Christmas that was unlocked, therfor I have sold the phone the contract came with as well for another £50, so I haven't really lost out on much by doing this, and I have good credit!)

I didn't think my internet usage was high. Turns out I'm wrong. But not by too much.

The plan I am on current gives me 100 mins, unlimited texts and 100MB internet. (dolphin)

There is a plan that orange have for the same price for 50 minutes, unlimited texts and 250mb of data (panther)

My question is this: I've had the contract for 5 days, is there anyway that if were to contact Orange they would possibly let me switch to this instead?

If I did would I have to return the gift to E2Save?

I don't want to shoot myself in the foot here, so any advice would be great!

No you will not have to return the 'gift'.
  • But do you think Orange will let me switch it?

Are you 100% sure about the gift not having to be returned? What about actually getting it - the PS Vita doesn't launch til next week and they are apparently shipping on Monday - I could wait til then but as I signed up through e2save on Monday am I right in thinking that will count as seven days and then I won't be able to switch the contract?

    I don't know. Just ask.

My head hurts. As you said 'got' and 'return' I thought you have already got it. If you have it you don't have to return it and they cannot force you.

If you have not got it yet, then I don't know.
