Evening calls mobile to mobile
I was hoping for some advice on mobile phones - my girlfriend and I are currently on Virgin PAYG (through direct debit) and are very happy with the network, have our own phones etc. But over the next year we will be using our mobiles loads more than we have done, as she'll be working in another part of the country. Can…

O2 tariff question
Hi guys, I work in head office for a major mobile retailer, and i get 50% staff discount with O2. I recently took out a staff deal simply to get the N95 free (12 month). I already have an O2 online account which is due for renewal in november. What i want to know is what is the minimum term that you have to be with O2 for…

e2save pricematch deals - should I steer clear of these?
Am looking at a couple of phones on e2save. They have the phone as a normal clearance deal, and on the tariff that I want - it works out to £13.00 a month. However they also have the same phone on a clearance pricematch deal which works out about £4 a month. Am not 100% sure what these pricematch deals are, gather that…

How do u change network on 3 when u have bad signal?
Some times my moby has a weak 3 signal but still uses the 3 network. When it can't find 3 it roams FOC. This causes a problem because the poor 3 signal can be broken when it insists on using the crap 3 signal in preference. When the 3 signal is really bad/none existent, it then roams (at the same location) and the signal…

Orange PAYG sim
Considering getting an Orange PAYG sim and using it in an unlocked phone so I can take advantage of Orange Wednesdays at Cineworld. Questions: 1. Have read comments about a 6pm cut off, what is this? 2. If I top up by say £10, does this top up last for ever until used, with no expiry? 3. Are there any restrictions on what…

Contract Phone to Pay as You Go
I am about three weeks away from the end of my Vodafone 18 month contract. I have recently got a mobile for my job, so I don't need a contract anymore, but am hoping to keep my existing phone on a PAYG deal with the same number. Does anyone know if Vodafone will let me do this, and should I contact vodafone now or do I…

I am in the process of terminating my contract, but I have not completed the minimum term (12 months). I have requested to terminate at the end of the month and had requested a PAC, but…

Nokia N95 - Can it be flashed to recognise 4gb SD card?
Pretty much as the title says. I have a Nokia N95 and recently purchased a 4gb SD card for it. The only trouble is that the handset only recognised 2gb of the data and wont utilise the rest of the memory. Does anyone if it can be flashed to allow the handset to recognise the full 4gb memory card?

Debt from using international over-ride number
Hi Just as a warning to you all... take care if you are using over-ride numbers to make international calls which allows the calls to be included in your free minutes. I used a company called Dialabroad with my O2 phone to call Turkey (to a landline) and checked it a few times and it was indeed coming up as an 0845 number…

Another question about PAYG
As I mentioned in my previous thread, I've always had a contract mobile so not totally sure how PAYG works. I've just ordered a new phone for Littlewoods and it looks as if it comes with an O2 sim card. Does this mean I can only buy airtime from O2 or can I shop around for the best deals?

Which network has cheapest PAYG
I want to give an elderly uncle (88) a mobile phone for emergencies. He might make 1-2 calls a month, not sure about texts although he mastered email very quickly. Who would be the best sim provider bearing in mind that he may not make a call for months and £5 would probably last him a year.
