Another question about PAYG
As I mentioned in my previous thread, I've always had a contract mobile so not totally sure how PAYG works. I've just ordered a new phone for Littlewoods and it looks as if it comes with an O2 sim card. Does this mean I can only buy airtime from O2 or can I shop around for the best deals?

It depends on whether or not the phone is locked, which, if Littlewoods have a deal with O2 it probably is. What phone is it? You may be able to unlock it free of charge remotely via a code or if more advanced get it done locally for £10-£15 which, depending on where you're going to go network wise, may be a viable option.

Hi Patwa,
It's a Samsung D900i.0 -
If I purchase a phone that comes with an 02 sim card am I tied to them? The phone is a Samsung D900i? Would really appreciate some advice as this would be my first PAYG? Having always had a contract phone but deals seem to be getting harder, current deal is half price line rental direct from provider, not sure about cashback which seems to be the new 'rock & roll'?
I'm quite organised so claiming cashback wouldn't be a problem providing the provider (sounds a bit biblical!!) was fairly straightforward with cashback refunds.
Big ask I know but any advice would be gratefully received.0
