I am coming towards the end of my PCP and will have the option to buy the car, but trying to remember how this works as no matter what happens outside of the agreement, for that option, you pay what is agreed in the paperwork, but..... Car Finance
Hi...I took out finance on a car in december 2019 but wrote it off this week. It's not covered by the insurance but the finance company have told me I can either keep paying for it or just stop...in which case they write it off as a bad debt and it's done with. Obviously it would be a 6 year default on my credit rating but…

Car loan
I was looking to get a loan for a new car before we went into lockdown. Now the interest rates have dropped is it still wise to take out a loan even though I don’t know when I’ll be able to purchase the car? I think a loan would be cheaper than finance in the long run. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
