No Debt consolidation loans available

Hi,
I've been looking to get a £12,000 loan for debt consolidation. I've tried all the compare sites and I'm getting nothing back.
Could this be because of the corona virus? or am I too much of a risk?

Go to the DFW boards for advice on cutting costs and repaying your existing debts before borrowing any more.

You cannot ever borrow your way out of debt, the piper will always want paying at some point.
Banks know these type of loans are high risk at any time, you can`t afford your current commitments, only a fool would lend you more money, yets banks do take that risk, sometimes, however, the situation we find ourselves in now is quite unpresidented, if you end up losing your job, the first thing to default will be the loan, so no one will be lending much at all right now, and especially not for the reason stated.

If you want to learn the correct way to deal with problem debt, head on over to debt free wannabe, post a statement of affairs, and we can point you in the right direction, this may just mean better budgeting, or a more serious solution may be required, every situation is different, but the first step is that SOA, available from the sticky thread at the top of this forum.
