Query about interest
Last July a decided to open up a cash ISA with Halifax, the interest is 2.75 gross, I saved up to £4500 and expected around £123 interest, I looked today and it still states 2.75 but the interest paid is just £47.25, I have not made any withdrawals so I'm a bit confused, is there something obvious I'm missing here?

New to ISA's
am i right in understanding that if i was to open an ISA today(2012/2013 year) then another tomorrow (2013/2014?) then i could only add funds to the 2013/14 one? so unless i had a reasonable amount to put into 2012/13 today there wouldnt be any point? sorry if it seems a bit "simple" just abit confused :D
