Hi,
Looking for some help please.
I have an isa from a few years ago which I haven't topped up (LTSB) have just watched the programme on Isa's which prompted me to look at mine. I notice that the interest on the isa was paid a couple of days ago - does this mean that I have the tax free allowance available but have missed the opportunity to earn interest on it?
Thanks in advance for any help

How long ago is 'a few years ago'?
When did you last pay money into your ISA?
Every year (starts 6th April, ends following 5th April) you have an ISA allowance. This year 2012/13, which ends today, you could have saved up to £11280 tax free, of which a max of £5640 could have been in a cash ISA.
Next year, 2013/14, which starts tomorrow, you can save up to £11520 tax free, of which a max of £5760 can be in a cash ISA.
Don't waste your allowance for another year. Also, have a look at the rate of interest you're now getting on your LTSB ISA, and think about having it transferred to somewhere with a better rate.0 -
More importantly who is Ida? Does she answer anyones questions?
