Trying to help a friend . Application accepted but no details to pay by debit card. Called one help number but it said they were closed.Does anyone have a number to call to pay by Debit card please? I can't see anything online and the number called appears to be bank number. Thanks.

There's a telephone number for deposits by debit card provided in the product T&Cs. Is that the number your friend is dialling?

Yes it is the same one but it closed at 10pm!

If applied online and it's been accepted, they should give the sort code and account number. You can transfer money in from your own bank. You should be able to do faster payment, mine took about 2 minutes to transfer.

Or, sign up for online banking at Tesco and, once logged in, go to the left column of links where it says 'My Money' or something similar. Click on that and there should be a sublink called 'Money In'. This is an alternative way to do an online transfer, or direct debit.

Thanks but too late now. Had to have money in by 11.30pm. Oh well that's life! Martin's show should have been on last week !
