Cash ISA Transfers - Why Such a Bad Thing
Assuming that the point of a bank offering an ISA is to get access to your cash in order to invest it in such a was as to make a return for the bank greater than the interest rate it pays you, why do so many Cash ISAs forbid you transferring previous years ISAs in? I'd have thought getting hands on maximum cash was an…

ISA Transfers from multiple ISAs?
Hi all, First time posting, I've had a search but I can't seem to find the answer to my query. Both my wife and I have ISAs - and we're planning on either putting in the max next year, or opening another two accounts with a different provider should their rate be more attractive than our current providers. My question is,…

I've used up my cash ISA allowance & now looking to use up my remaining allowance with a Stocks & Shares ISA before the 5th. However, I'm a little confused by all the options available. Ideally, I'm looking for something that’s easy to set up online, low maintenance, low risk with a decent level of return. Although they…

Are there any ISA Transfer Limits?
I have an e-ISA with first direct and currently there doesn't seem to be any ISA offers that are higher than what I get with them (3%) unless I get new current accounts etc. However, this 3% drops to 0.2% in November so what I want to know is: can I put in £5100 into my e-ISA on 06/04/2010 and then transfer the entire…

2010/11 ISAs - When will the 'Top picks' table go live on this site?
Apologies if I am being dense, but I can only spot the guide for 2009/10. I want to get my 2010/11 ISA set up as soon as possible so I can transfer into it asap,…
