ISA question

Was on the phone to Halifax earlier changing my ISA to the ISA Direct Reward and the person i spoke to on the phone said you can transfer the money money between as many ISA's and open as many as you like but you can only fund one.
I didn't realise you could transfer and open them as often as you wanted. Is what they said correct information?

Yes, it is.
See here for more on what you can do with your existing ISA: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2302457
Transferring it from one Halifax ISA to another is instant (or, at most, takes one day).0 -
Plan is to pen up a account with Santander next week and bung £5100 on the 1st day, then if my Halifax variable account rate goes down i can move that as well.0
