ISA query

If i have an ISA at the moment (with a rubbish rate!) and want to transfer it to a better rate can I transfer this years amount currently in the account (£3600) into a new account after the new tax year as well as adding my new years worth of entitelement.

So, i'll be transferring £3600 + paying in a new amount of £3600? Is that right or do I need to rush around trying to get this years lot into a new account now?

No you dont have to rush around.
Just go to where you want to have your isa, fill in a form for them to transfer it for you and then after April 6th just add your next isa allowance to it.

Or wati till April 6th, Open a new isa (make sure it takes transfers in, and then fill in a form to transfer your old isa into it.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
