Anyone used surewise.com-or have other recommendations for extended warranty?
I hope this is the right section to post in... My washer dryer is now 5 years old, my extended warranty with Domestic & General is coming to an end and, of course, the price for renewing it has shot up enormously (now 170 pounds for one year). Surewise.com are considerably cheaper (about 72 pounds for the year) but does…

A few months ago, my wife dropped her phone & cracked the screen, so I called the insurance company (Legal & General) to enquire whether or not it would be worth claiming on my contents insurance. Hi, I just wanted some advice on claiming on buildings insurance. This has caused alot of the paint and plaster to peel and…

The house insurance is due soon and we are with L&G and I had a renewal quote sent. After trying on comparison sites I had a better quote from them but now I see they are offering a £70 Amazon Gift Certificate if entering MSEDEAL on the quote. I can't find anything in the T&Cs which excludes existing customers from this…

No fault treated as fault because don't know who hit car
My daughter's car was hit and damaged when parked in a gym carpark. There was no witness and no CCTV. The damage was several hundred pounds worth. Having explored every avenue to find a witness she did the right thing and reported it to her insurers. #KwikFit completed the (no fault) claim quickly and then told her that…

I was involved in a collision while driving my wife’s car. The other driver’s insurers have accepted liability for the collision and we’ve received a cheque in settlement of the write-off. Insurance refusal by Saga.

Last August, I purchased an oven and gas hob for our new kitchen. It was bought online and everything was in my name (Mr A, for the purposes of this thread).
