Tenants' rights during disruption
We rent a lovely big farmhouse, and pay a very reasonable rent - the back of the house looked out over all the barns and farmyard, which wasn't the prettiest, but we liked it. We had a cottage front garden, orchard at the side and an enclosed rear garden, with an allotment area, fruit trees and bushes and a lovely big lawn…

Buying this house... Roof question (pics)
Hello, We've just had an offer accepted on this house. We noticed today that the roof seems to have a dark patch by the right hand side of the upper floor windows. Completed, moved in , found serious rat infestation
Is there any recourse on this? We have lived there 3 weeks now and originally had a pest man come out to inspect and bait on day 1 of living there (having had a sleepless night thanks to the Rave the rats were clearly having in the loft and cavaity walls). After 2 weeks he seems unable to get the problem under any kind of…

End of Tenancy Charges - Reasonable Wear & Tear?
Hi, My friend and I have just moved out of a flat after 13 months of living there and the letting agent has gone to the property and conducted an inspection to calculate any additional costs to be taken from our deposit. I disagree with a couple of the points (which I believe are fair wear & tear) and am wondering what…
