Buying this house... Roof question (pics)

Hello,
We've just had an offer accepted on this house. We noticed today that the roof seems to have a dark patch by the right hand side of the upper floor windows. I'm thinking it's just a water run off stain.
Interested to know your thoughts before we send the surveyor 'round.
Unfortunately I'm unable to post image links as this is my first post, so please copy and paste the link images into your browser.

Here are the links for you.
To me it just looks like where the water follows a common path and has stained the light tiles but I am no expert.
Make sure you get a decent survey done.Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
This is just caused by the rain running down the lead flashing at the side of the dorma. The water dissolves the lead (very very slowly, I am not saying it is worn out) then dries on the roof tiles below leaving a deposit.0

I would be very worried by that big red circle thingy if I was you :rotfl:Gather ye rosebuds while ye may0

I would suspect that the flat roof to the dormer slopes towards that side so discharges all the rainwater in that narrow band.
Is the water ponding slightly on the flat roof so it takes much longer to run off leaving the damp patch long after the rest of the roof tiles have dried out?
Probably not a serious defect but I would get that flat roof inspected and check the dormer cheek and flashings are all in good condition just to make sure.0
