Solicitor Fees
I've had a preliminary quote from a solicitor should I wish to use them, I was wondering if it sounded reasonable? I'd set aisde £3000 for fees so that's fine in that regard, they're local as well which is a benefit. My father used them in the past and said they were ok. This firm's professional fees 525.00 SDLT fee 40.00…

Property Management Fees
Does anybody know, on average, how a letting agent arrives at a figure to manage a rented property that a person owns? Does it tend to be on a percentage basis and also what do then tend to cover. I'm looking at a property being fully managed to include callouts, inspections and new tenants etc. Thanks

Online HIPS
Hope to get some advice regarding buying HIP online. I decided to use Fridays Property Lawyers as they offer a far better price than estate agent and therefore if I don't sell we haven't lost out too much money. I filled in a PIQ online and am now expecting to be contacted by an energy assessor for that part of the HIP.…

How to pick a good Estate Agent?
I am selling my house, truly. So I need an estate agent. (I won't go private as I need Rightmove exposure) And why not bring this up in forum. Do I go online, try and use a local independent or use a national/chain? I have a bias to one sort, as some of you posters well know, but to try and be open to changing that, do any…

Leasehold property - rent review
Hi. Don't know if anyone has the answer to this or whether I need to consult a solicitor? I recently bought a new-build leasehold flat from a major developer.
