Do buyers EVER pay the full asking price?
Hi Just put my property on the market at 185k, which i believe is a realistic asking price. Now as this is the first time i'm selling a property (hence my inexperience), am i right in thinking that based on the current market no-one is going to make me a full offer? This is the property in question:…

HMO Question
Hi, Does anyone know the ins and outs of HMO's? Basically if a property is not HMO registered what are the potential penalties for tenants and landlords if three individuals are staying there? I ask because three of us are looking to rent a property but most of the ones we're keen on aren't HMO registered. What would the…

Should I be upset at this viewer's comment?
As background, ex and I are splitting up, so house is on the market. Been on the market for two weeks, 5 viewers, not bad going for a £400K house. However, the feedback we got from the last viewer yesterday has really upset me. I am a total neat and tidy freak and you could view my house without giving me notice, but this…

Question about ASTs
Quick question: a 12 month AST is coming to an end in November. The contract gives no details of ways for the tenant to exit the contract early (e.g. giving 2 months notice during the last 6 months of the contract). Are there any ways for the tenant to (legally!) exit to contract? Thanks in advance! R

About to Rent, what can I offset for tax bill?
We are about to relocate abroad for 2 or more years. Whilst our house is on the market, it appears that there is little chance of selling and we have decided to put our home for rent. We will remain UK tax payers as we are crown servants. My husband is in 25% bracket and may probably earn nothing so will have a full tax…

Managing Agent's Questionnaire
We have sold our flat :j I contacted the Managing agent's to ask them if they would return the Questionnaire quickly and I would make sure they would get their fee. Can anybody help please? I have recently had an offer accepted on a ground floor freehold flat which is one of 4 in a property. House prices UP 1.2% in May
I'll probably be accused of 'old news' again but I haven't seen this mentioned yet. According to RightMove, asking prices were UP by 1.2% in May but mainly because of southeast optimism ("It ain't raining on us yet"). Interestingly RightMove is also in the news today because one of their founders Halifax/HBOS is sellingup…
