Working on maternity leave.
I am currently on maternity leave until next May, however have decided to not return and instead work for myself. My question is, can I set up as a sole trader now, ( I may not earn anything as it's early days ) or do I have to wait until my mat pay has finished? Thanks in advance ;)

Holidays in notice period
Hi I have handed in my notice on Friday and have to give 4 weeks statutory notice. However I have 11 days accrued holiday. HR have said they don't have to let me take them in the notice period and it is at their discretion to either make me work the full time, or pay me in lieu of holiday time. Is this right?
