Hi
Havent been unemplyed for 17 years, and then breifly.
Have to sign on tomorrow for the first time and have to complete my grey agreement form. Bit worried about it to be honest.

What I did - date.
I have been looking online at jobs and also have jobs sent to me automatically from a few agencies such as reed etc.

What have I to write in the boxes?
Bought newspaper and looked?
searched online?

Any HELP appreciated.

Thanks

  • You need to keep a record of everything you have done to look for work since you were last in. If you applied to any employers, when, how (sent cv etc) and which ones. If you checked online, when and which websites. Did you register with any (on-line or high street) agencies? Which newspapers did you check? Did you cold call any employers? Did you call Jobseeker Direct or visit the jobcentre? You get the picture. Just make sure everything is detailed and you'll be fine. If it is your signing on day, you will only be with the clerk for a few minutes so don't worry unduly.
