backdating CA
Hi, does anyone know how long CA can be backdated? i understand under normal rulles its 3 months but we have an appeal going to tribunal in 3 weeks time for DLA. It has taken 13 months to get to this stage so if we were fortunate enough to get awarded MRC/HRC could we get carers allowance backdated more than 3 months?

Disabled people discriminated against by customs.
Many disabled people are cannot travel and thus cannot benefit from duty free. Is this in breach of the disability discrimination act, and if it isn't is the act fit for purpose?
