DLA Awarded through tribuneral on Friday

Hi All,

I know its a bit soon etc,

I was wondering what happens next?

DD Awarded HRC & HRM backdated to april last year. Does anyone know how long the wait time is for South Wales for backdated payments?

Not sure who to contact (if i need to. Only contacted Tax credits)

Any help would be appreciated.

It shouldnt take too long although the DLA people will check to see if they wish to appeal (but can only do so on a point of law so HIGHLY unlikely,other than that payments usually pretty quick usually getting to your account a day or two before you get the letter detailing payments,so keep checking your bank balance

It only took about 2 weeks for me to get my backpay. I was told that there can be some delay in the Tribunal Service sending the decision notice to DWP as the Tribunal Service is so busy at the moment (surprise, surprise). They do have up to 30 days to appeal the Tribunal's decision, so bear this in mind.

To ensure there was no further delay with this, I actually copied my decision notice and sent it to them myself. I would rather they had two copies than none!

It took exactly 2 weeks for my OH to get his and like the other poster stated the letter arrived two days later.

Thank you for the messages. Means a lot.

Been told that there are numerous things that come with DLA and i am shocked that there are so many.

DD's hospital op has now been cancelled .
