Do student loans count as debt?
Hi, I'm new here so apologies if this has already been discussed or whatnot. My student loans are around £15k (plan 1). Apart from that I have virtually no debt at all. I'm paying the loans back but my mandatory contributions have never done much more than pay off the interest - at this rate it would take hundreds of…

"IVA" cold-calls - what can be done?
I'm sure I'm not alone here... your phone is ringing, it's from a number you do not recognise... you pick it up and the person introduces themselves as "Mike" or "Kevin" (or some other typically 'British' sounding name) but in a heavy foreign accent. They then claim to be able to write-off up to 70% of your debt... What…

7.5k debt with SOA
Hi All, (25 years old) I guess this is a familiar story, took out one credit card to pay for one small trip, and with the increased limit I've slowly ended up working up a debt of 7.5k, it's becoming a burden and while I know I can afford the repayments, the high interest is concerning.
