IVA with high number of phone contracts

Hi all,
Right now I've got £1686/mo outgoing on an income of about £1265/mo take home. It's the result of stupidly taking out credit after I left university and then getting into the classic spiral of taking out additional credit to pay other monthly outgoings. I've ran through the StepChange process which have suggested either a DMP or an IVA but I'm worried because of the mobile contracts I have got.
In the past, I've used phone credit agreements from O2 and Giffgaff/Ratesetter to raise funds by selling the phone. I'm worried that if I include these in a DMP or IVA and stop meeting the requested payment, the network's will blacklist the devices which will just end up causing me larger affordability problems if I'm asked to pay the phone sale price back.
Anyone have experience or knowledge of a situation like this? Can these not be included in an IVA so I can continue paying these regularly? If I go down the DMP route, can I not include these or will my creditors not agree as they feel they're being treated unfairly.
Thanks

Hi,
They are just normal simple contract debts, the original SIM cards will be blocked, but the handsets will not, so they can still be used.
They are treated no differently to any other debt you may default on, and any and all debt solutions are open to you, dependant on your circumstances.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
