Hi Could any of you lovely people give me some advice? Around a year ago I got an unexpected letter from Lowell portfolio saying I owe 60 quid for a vodafone account dating back to 2005. As far as I was concerned I had paid that off at the time and nothing was wrong. I rang Lowells and asked them what the hell it was all…

Quite frankly, I would have thought they had given up all hope of getting their money back by…

Settlement figures, consolidating debts?
Hello all, I think this is the right place to ask; we have debts of about £45000, and i have just received an inheritance, so was thinking about paying some of the loans off. We asked for some settlement figures and were offered small discounts, and one loan we would have to actually pay more if we settle early. Anyway, I…

I have been with the CCCS for a year now and on a DMP. It has gone well and in many ways taken away the immense stress I was feeling. Woo, that's the big one gone!
OK, I'm not in a massive amount of debt compared to some here - about £2500 in total, comprised of a £500 overdraft, £200 and £1300 credit cards, and £500 catalogues. Today is payday. And bonus month. My bonus has cleared the £1300 card, slicing my debt in half in a single blow. Now I just need to leave it alone.
