Thursday 21st April - What small things will you do today???!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
OMG look at the time

I have to say after reading about minimalism & being a "minsumer" (as opposed to a consumer) it has made NSDs so much easier! WHats this all about?
Thanks for starting us off!
LaN I run outside - had an interesting convo with oh yesterday as I want to cancel gym membership as I never go but we have a couples membership which means his is cheaper...- but running is really a bit of a stretch as I go my performance increases then I don't. But I like it so I keep trucking!

aw compliments - so disappointing for you :grouphug: its easy for me to say but I truely believe whats meant for you won't go past you. about 5 years ago I kept getting refused jobs & I was so frustrated & disappointed & then I went through a really awful period in my life & I realised looking back that had I have got any of those jobs I would have been in real trouble. They weren't for me xMorning everyone. Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine.
Something of a bittersweet day today. My eldest son died in infancy, and today is his 18th birthday. I'm on the train down to London to visit his grave.
Obviously, I'll be buying flowers, but hoping not to have to make too many other spends today.
really have been thinking of you Karb, hope there were some hapiness there for you in the sadness xDF as at 30/12/16
