Confirmation of when an entry drops of your CRA file
Just received this from experian. I guess the moral of the story is if you are trying to repair your credit status don't go for a partial settlement! It is annoying that if I didn't pay anything it would be gone now ... if I continued to pay the measly £2 pm and take about 30 years to pay it, it would be gone now ... but…

Credit file when changing address
Hello all, I may be moving back to my parents for a year so I can save loads, pay off debt then move out to rented while my credit file slowly heals itself. Company who cannot provide a CCA are pursuing me
Following advice on the CCCS thread I sent a letter to a debt collection agency asking for a copy of a CCA. When they didn't respond in 12 days I sent the second letter recommended. A week later I got a letter from the company with copies of bank statements saying that they intend to pursue the debt, and that I should…

Problem with an overseas debt collection agency
Hi guys, I’m currently getting letters and emails from Universal Inkasso, a Netherlands based company. Back at the start of 2010, I intended to travel in Germany quite a bit, and after a lot of Babelfish translating fun, managed to purchase a train travelcard (Bahncard) that gave 25% off each journey. I used it for 2010,…

Aktiv Kapital

They are saying its for my very old store card account from a previous address which I am certain I settled back in 2007.
