Please help me :( I'm stupid, young and scared.
Hi everyone, I honestly don't know where to start here, but I'm in trouble with Natwest. About half way through my first year of uni (I'm now just finishing the second of a four year course) I joined Natwest for their Student account. I took out the £1250 overdraft and the credit card, and guess who maxed both.. Anyway.…

Diary - Does it count as a lightbulb moment if your head's still stuck in the sand?
OK, so this is me. I have a good job, I earn reasonable money, I also have a lot of debt which I need to pay back. I don't want to give figures, I don't want to post a SOA - I'm not quite ready for that yet, I don't want advice at the moment but I will do shortly so bear with me. At the moment I feel like I'm spending all…

What would be the best solution to clear my debt?
I accrued a 4k credit card while i was away travelling for two years. I had planned to do a balance transfer on my return, but due to having an 'untraceable history' due to being outside of the UK for so long, I am unable to get a credit card anywhere. I'm also currently unemployed, and while i was away i missed the odd…

Me and my husband have just over £27000 of debt. This was a loan and 2 credit cards, and a couple of other things. We went with a DMP, with the CCCS. We are now paying £470 a month whereas previous we were paying out around £800 a month. At first it felt like ' yes we can breath again', but a couple of our creditors do not…

Life is a real mess.
This is a long story so thanks in advance for reading. Between us, my former wife and I ran up some pretty serious debt (mortgage, secore loan, credit cards, overdraft). http://www.flickr.com/photos/52277632@N07/4818486990/ This is the only default that appears on my credit report and as you can see, the default date is way past the date I started missing payments, it seems like they have changed it themselves :S or I am wrong assuming that? Anyone know why my pic isn't showing up?? If you…

Hi all, I'll keep this as brief as possible. While me and the now ex were still a couple, I took out a mobile contract with O2 for her. Hello All.... I've lurked for several weeks after putting myself in one of the worst positions I've ever been in. Being the main wage earner I thought I could cope but the pressure and guilt I was feeling was just too much and a week…

Plan of action (tips welcome)
Having seen my credit score of 390 i plan to do the following. Sell my house - move into rented. Pay off my DMP and any other bits. Rent for a year will offer 6 months in advance and have no hp ect. Council Tax Confusion
I'm in a bit of a pickle if anyone can help me. Background Whilst living in the house share, we had a 6 month period where we had no council tax bill. One then came through and we arranged to pay by installments on top of our monthly direct debit for current bill. This was a total of £329 (£212 for outstanding, £117 for…
